Hi - I’m Erika! I am delighted to introduce our outstanding committee. Together, we are committed to captivating students with the wonders of our natural and human environments through enriching events. Geography, as a dynamic field, holds immense potential in addressing contemporary challenges, and I am eager to delve into this exploration with all of you.

As a half Japanese, half Greek person, I travel a lot and like learning about new cultures. I also like to hike and go cycling in my free time. Whether you want to discuss sustainable development, geology, or simply have inquiries about the society, feel free to reach out!

Hi! I’m Natasha, a 2nd year Geographer at Catz, and I’ll be your Geog Soc treasurer for the upcoming year. As treasurer, my main role will be to ensure financial stability within the society and ensure that all expenses are accounted for. I will monitor both income and expenditure to maximise availability for exciting talks, social events and stash amongst other things. Being half Singaporean and half Irish ordinarily residing in Dubai, my main geographical interests revolve around the human issues of place, identities, cultures and citizenships. In my free time I also enjoy skiing, playing tennis, traveling and listening to music. I can’t wait to catch up with you all at the coming term’s events!

Hi, I'm Naomi, a 2nd year Geographer at St Anne's. I'm the secretary - so will be dealing with the background admin required to keep the society running. I'll be sending out the newsletter with info on GeogSoc's upcoming events and opportunities - so check your emails for that! My main geographical interests are urban and transport geographies, but in my free time, I love spending time hiking in the mountains. Looking forward to seeing you at GeogSoc events!

Hello, I’m Jiayang (Stephen), a 2nd year Geographer at Catz, and I’ll be your IT/Marketing Officer! I will be managing the posts on Instagram and updating the website, so keep a look out for future posts.

As a Singaporean, I love staying in a city, but crave exploring the countryside and natural landscapes. I am a human geographer with interests in places, sustainability, networks and climate change! Outside of academics, I play the violin but also love sports like volleyball and table tennis. I can’t wait to engage with you here and meet everyone soon in our events!
